Bob expected Dahlia to be a good fighter. No Web Rider could be called a pushover. Even Matrix had lost his brawl with Weblash. But Bob had woefully underestimated her. Dahlia hit fast rather then hard. Warpan preferred to stand ground in their battle. Dahlia used every bit of her terrain around her, especially the trees.
After fencing with Bob for a few more nanos Dahlia turned and ran full force at the nearest tree truck. She vertically climbed it

Unfortunately, power up came.
Bob had sat up waiting for it. He used the glow of the one lantern they kept lit to reboot into his new uniform before stepping out into the early morning power up. Bob didn't wear the new uniform because he wanted to. In fact he thought the helmet made him look like a dork. The new uniform had a specific purpose, to show Dahlia the kind of enemy she faced.
He examined the firearm that accompanied the upgrade. Bob felt so out of place wearing it.
I used this kind of weapon to slay a Stinger. Will I be forced to use such a thing again?
