Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Due to a lack of response, I am canceling the contest I had planned.

I will try again in the summer, however I need some suggestions on how to proceed.

I'm open to themes and ideas since the last one seems to not be getting anywhere.

But remember, I called the group Ben 10 Canonicity. The idea must fit the canon and be clean!

If you want just one contest including fan fiction, I will offer one prize for art and one for fan fiction. For me they are apples and oranges. I'm an artist with a BFA in Illustration. I personally cannot evaluate them the same way, much like Deviant Art separates the two as well.

What the prizes will be will also be in question until I get a response. No response from enough people means no contest.

Also I still could use help. I need a cofounder. Sadly LovinSpoonfuls has gone missing, which is another reason I'm pulling my contest. I know she would have done my contest and I wanted to do hers but without word from her in a month, I can't do this either.

Please. I don't want my group to just go away because of Omniverse. I didn't know all this would happen.

The way Spoonful is, I wouldn´t be surprised if she has left DA for a while because of a depression involving the last events - Omniverse, Thundercats´ ending and now Young Justice ruined. Or maybe it´s for personal issues, some of her postings hinted that she wasn´t exactly happy with her real life. But keep hope up, my dear; after all, she hasn´t closed her account, so she might come back.

I´ve been busy with my real life and I´m working on personal projects when I reach the computer,
so I forgot the contest. But I´m shocked with the ending of it. Canonicity looked a very popular group, and the Omni-lovers could enter it, too. I´m starting to hate Omniverse for reasons much stronger than the design change... The colateral effects are spreading like radiation and affecting the innocents.

I'm pretty bad about contests....I can't really draw worth a darn, and I'm REALLY BAD about starting stories and not finishing them. You might have more luck holding it over the summer or something, with school being out and such, more people might be free to actually do something about a contest.
